Are you looking to start a rewarding career working with children? We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and caring Nursery Apprentice to join our team at Little Monkeys.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being around young children and would like to learn, develop and gain a recognised childcare qualification while working in a busy, supportive nursery environment.
You will work alongside our experienced nursery team, learning how to support children's care, learning and development through play, everyday routines and meaningful interactions.
Responsibilities
- What you'll be doing
- Supporting children with their play, learning and development
- Helping to create fun, engaging and age-appropriate experiences
- Supporting children's care and daily routines
- Building warm, positive relationships with children
- Helping to prepare and maintain a safe, welcoming nursery environment
- Learning about the EYFS and how children develop
- Developing your knowledge of safeguarding and children's wellbeing
- Working as part of our friendly nursery team
- Completing your apprenticeship training and qualification alongside your role
Experience
- You don't need to already have a childcare qualification – that's what the apprenticeship is for!
We're looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic
- Reliable and willing to learn
- Confident working as part of a team
- Interested in children's development
- Happy to get involved in all aspects of nursery life
- Committed to completing their apprenticeship qualification
Previous experience with children is helpful but not essential.
Hours
4 days per week
8.00am – 4.30pm (for under 18 years)
45-minute lunch break
