Claims Officer
Manchester City Centre (Office Based)
Salary: £29,080.48 per annum + Uncapped Commission + Benefits
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm, plus every other Saturday (9:00am–6:00pm)
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Claims Officer to join our busy team. This role is ideal for someone with strong telephone-based customer service experience who enjoys building rapport, solving problems and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
Working closely with Account Managers and operational teams, you'll contact clients throughout their claims journey, resolve issues, retain claims, progress pending cases and ensure every opportunity is maximised.
What You'll Be Doing
- Contact clients to support them through their claim.
- Resolve queries and overcome objections to keep claims progressing.
- Manage pending and non-progressing claims.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service while achieving performance targets.
What We're Looking For
- Previous Claims telephone-based customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and objection-handling abilities.
- Organised with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Essential: Experience in claims handling, insurance, legal services, personal injury, credit hire or vehicle repair.
