Job description
James Waste Management is looking for an experienced Workshop mechanic/engineer to join our workshop team. This is a workshop-based, this role is to maintain and repair the mobile and fixed plant.
The Role
- Repairing mobile plant including:
- Forklift trucks,
- Wheeled loaders
- 360’s grabs
- Repairs to fixed plant including conveyor belts and shakers etc.
Welding experience is useful but not essential. This is not a fabrication role.
Pay & Hours
- £17.10 – £19.20 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 5:00pm, 9 hours with 2* 30-minute unpaid breaks.
- 20 days holidays plus 8 statutory bank holidays

About You
- Experienced in automotive, plant, HGV, forklift, or similar mechanical engineering.
- Confident carrying out servicing, repairs, and inspections
- Welding experience advantageous but not required
