Complex Care Assistant – Stone Branch

Stone – ST15
Shifts –
Variety of shifts available - earlies 0800-1400 and lates 1400-2000 and long days.
There is an expectation for some part of every other weekend to be worked on a rolling rota basis.
Salary –
£13.50 per hour, plus 12.07% holiday pay

About the Service User -
Have you got what it takes to be part of a well-established team to support a young gentleman in his home and in the community. The candidate should be fun, have a caring nature, a great sense of humour and happy to join in social activities, these activities can be anything from cooking, walking, visiting places of interest to the client, music, support with holiday and appointments.
The candidate must have good level of communication and motivational skills to help with the clients change in mood. Staff must offer choices and help support the client with healthy decisions when it comes to his diet, which may affect his health.
We are looking to give the young male the best life, helping to live independently, be healthier and encourage engagement in interests that hold his attention.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with Epilepsy and ASD. The candidate must have a driving licence and business insurance as we support this client to access the community.
Additional training will be offered specific to the client’s type of complex Epilepsy.
Key Responsibilities –
- Follow a personalised care plan

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with business insurance
- Must be 18 or over
- Previous care experience
