Main Purpose of role:
To work across all areas of the site to ensure that the correct level of operational hygiene is maintained throughout the production process.
Key Accountabilities:
- Cleaning of buildings and equipment to meet required standards. Carrying out scheduled daily, weekly and periodic tasks in accordance with the Cleaning Instruction Cards and schedule. Completion of post cleaning checks and re-cleaning of any areas when required.
- Ensure all bins are continuously emptied as required. Removal and disposal of waste material ensuring that the correct disposal methods and bins are used to ensure we meet legislative standards.
- Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed and on time.
- Ensuring correct use of chemicals in line with COSHH.
- Ensuring that your cleaning and personal protective equipment are maintained as clean and are functioning correctly and reporting any defective equipment in timely manner.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure of time and manage own work load to meet the requirements of the schedule whilst completing adhoc tasks as they arise.
- Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to your line manager and engineering.
- Replenishment of all dispensers in the production hygiene points.
- Safe use and operation of the floor scrubbing equipment.
- Absence cover for the office cleaner as and when required.
- Such other duties within your capabilities or training as maybe assigned from time to time.
Shifts: 6AM-2PM, Monday to Friday.
We are an operational manufacturing site, and have standards in place meaning nail enhancements of any type, jewellery or eyelash extensions are not permitted in the manufacturing areas. Within this role, you will be required to enter the manufacturing areas and cannot do so without these being removed.
