Job Description
Role Purpose
As part of our mission to drive innovation and business growth, the Global Event Team develops and executes high-impact events worldwide.
Based in London, the Senior Event Manager and Content Producer will design and deliver B2B events across Europe, combining event leadership with hands-on content production. Working with senior stakeholders, commercial teams, agencies, and production partners, this role will create compelling event content and experiences that engage priority audiences, showcase Visa innovation, and deliver measurable business impact.
This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of client engagement and brand-building initiatives, playing a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth and visibility through impactful events.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Collaborate with key stakeholders on comprehensive event briefs, including objectives, outcomes, target audience and messaging.

Lead cross-functional teams throughout the event lifecycle, including marketing, sales, communications, and product, to plan and deliver seamless event experiences.

Develop and manage event budgets, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective delivery while maintaining high standards.

Drive workstreams to ensure projects stay on track, adapting and consulting with leadership as required.

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal teams to drive ongoing engagement and seamless execution.
Event Content Production:

Lead the end-to-end production of event content, including agenda development, session briefs, speaker preparation materials, run of show, presentation assets, and on-screen content.

Partner with Communications, Executive Office and other key stakeholders to develop compelling content that is audience-focused and aligned with Visa’s strategic priorities.

Manage content timelines, approvals, version control, and stakeholder inputs to ensure all materials are accurate, polished, and delivered on schedule.

Brief and coordinate agencies, production partners, and creative teams to translate content strategy into high-quality live, digital, and hybrid event experiences.

Support rehearsals and speaker readiness, ensuring content flow, timing, transitions, and delivery meet executive standards.
Event Measurement and Reporting:

Establish KPIs for event success, analyse results, and report on ROI to leadership, recommending improvements for future events.

Implement lead capture and tracking process to ensure measurable commercial results

Capture stakeholder feedback and commercial outcomes, and provide actionable insights and recommendations
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:

Minimum 8 years’ experience leading B2B event management, content production, and delivery within a matrix organisation or global agency environment.

Strong strategic thinking, project management, and operational delivery skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder event programmes from concept to execution.

Passion for content production with an understanding of how effectively delivered content supports attendee satisfaction, bolsters business objectives, and aligns with overall marketing and communications strategy.

Experience advising and engaging senior leadership, providing clear recommendations, and ensuring alignment on event strategy, content, and outcomes.

Proven experience developing event agendas, session narratives, speaker briefs, run of show.

Excellent financial management, agency management, supplier management, and commercial negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, content workstreams, timelines, approvals, and version control simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Proven experience with event marketing technologies, registration platforms, and audience engagement tools.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain high standards in fast-paced, high-profile event environments.
Additional Information:

Role requires occasional travel to attend and oversee events.
