An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment in Coventry.
We are looking for someone who is confident working with sheet metal and has practical experience using a Press Brake, alongside strong welding and fabrication abilities.
You will be responsible for producing and fabricating sheet metal components to a high standard. The role will involve a mixture of Press Brake work, welding and general fabrication, so a varied skill set is essential.
Duties will include:

Setting and operating Press Brake machinery

Fabricating components from sheet metal
-
MIG and/or TIG welding
-
Cutting, bending and forming materials

Working from engineering drawings
-
Measuring and checking finished components
-
Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy

Working to production requirements and deadlines
The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication

Good Press Brake operating/set-up experience

Proven welding and fabrication skills

The ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Good measuring and inspection skills

A reliable and hardworking approach

The ability to work both independently and within a team
