Job Summary
Sun Court Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern
- 4 days over a 7-day period
- Shifts agreed with the Home Manager
- Flexible working arrangements may be available
Main Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care in line with NMC standards and best practice.
- Develop, implement, and review person-centred care plans.
- Administer and manage medications in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, identifying changes and responding appropriately.
- Work closely with residents, families, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support and supervise care staff to ensure high standards of care.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, choice, and independence for all residents.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and professional working environment.
Requirements Essential
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult/RGN).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good understanding of person-centred care.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and NMC revalidation.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a nursing home, care home, or similar healthcare setting.
- Experience supervising or leading care teams.
- Knowledge of care planning systems and medication management.
- Leadership or management qualifications.
