The Role
As Café Manager, you will take ownership of the venue, ensuring smooth daily operations while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
This position requires a confident and experienced leader who understands speciality coffee, inspires their team and is eager to contribute to the continued growth of the Wolfox brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead, train and support a team of baristas and front-of-house staff.
- Ensure the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality speciality coffee.
- Maintain exceptional standards of customer service.
- Manage stock levels, orders, supplier relationships and inventory.
- Monitor staffing, rotas, labour costs and operational expenses.
- Maintain a clean, organised and visually appealing environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial and performance targets.
- Represent the Wolfox brand and create memorable experiences for every guest.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a speciality coffee environment.
- Previous café management or team leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speciality coffee preparation and service.
- Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.
- A commercially aware and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy environment.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
