Support Worker Required
An exciting opportunity has become available to support a delightful young man with complex care in his own home in the Edgware area. You will work as part of a team and care is provided 2:1.
Your role will involve, attending to his personal care needs, assisting with mobility and transfers and supporting with clinical tasks, including management of a PEG feeding tube.
Experience working within a care background is an advantage, but it is not essential as full training, support and guidance will be provided.
Rate of pay: £17 per hour during the week increasing to £19 once shadow shifts and training are completed.
£19 per hour during weekends increasing to £21 once shadow shifts and training are completed.
Hours of work: You will work 12-hour shifts. Minimum of 24 hours per week. But you will need to be able to work flexibly and cover for illness/holiday of the other support workers
This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will also be asked to provide two references.
