Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of bartending practices, excellent time management skills, and a passion for the restaurant industry. shifts will be every wednesday and friday.2 people needed for job so one shift a week
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for billing purposes.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when required.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by responding promptly to customer needs and concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Effective time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.
