Job Summary:
CardoPlus Payment Solutions Ltd is looking for a Payments Operations Manager to lead daily payment operations, support reliable transaction processing, and improve operational performance across our payment services.
This role is ideal for an experienced payments, fintech, banking, financial services, or operations professional who enjoys managing teams, improving processes, resolving operational issues, and delivering secure and efficient payment services.
You will work closely with internal teams, banking partners, payment providers, merchants, and other stakeholders to support smooth payment processing and a positive customer experience.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily payment processing and operational activities.
- Lead, support, and develop the payments operations team.
- Monitor transaction performance, settlement activity, reconciliations, and service levels.
- Coordinate with banks, payment processors, card networks, merchants, and technology partners.
- Investigate payment failures, settlement differences, operational incidents, and customer issues.
- Improve payment workflows, controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Support merchant onboarding and the implementation of new payment services.
- Work with compliance, finance, risk, technology, and customer support teams.
- Support chargeback, refund, dispute, and reconciliation processes.
- Identify operational risks and introduce practical controls and improvements.
- Help ensure procedures remain aligned with company policies and relevant industry requirements.
- Support business continuity, incident response, and service recovery activities.
- Contribute to payment product launches and business growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience in payments, fintech, banking, financial services, operations, transaction processing, or a related management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities and resolve issues effectively.
- Good understanding of payment processing, reconciliations, settlements, or financial operations.
- Comfortable working with transaction reports, performance data, and operational systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing a team, project, or operational workstream is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cards, bank transfers, digital payments, payment gateways, or merchant services is welcomed.
- Degree, professional qualification, or equivalent practical experience is welcomed.
