Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage appointment scheduling efficiently to minimize wait times
- Assist dental practitioners during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Provide high-quality patient care by explaining treatments, answering questions, and offering reassurance
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
- Manage reception duties including answering phone calls, handling inquiries, and processing payments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment following health and safety regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, updating patient information, and managing correspondence
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in nursing or dental assisting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment management
- Compassionate approach to patient care with the ability to put patients at ease during their visits
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when needed
