Full Role Description: Volunteer Online Sales Support RD
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Hours: Flexible
Our Volunteer Clothes Sorters help transform generous clothing donations into vital funds that support The Air Ambulance Service’s lifesaving work.
Working behind the scenes in one of our retail locations, you’ll sort, prepare and organise donated clothing, shoes and accessories, ensuring high-quality items are ready for sale in our charity shops. Every item you help process contributes to keeping our helicopters flying and our critical care teams responding when every second counts.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
Depending on your interests and experience, you may support with:
- Sorting donated items suitable for online sale.
- Researching brands, collectables, antiques and other specialist items to help maximise their value.
- Photographing products to create attractive, high-quality online listings.
- Writing clear, accurate and engaging product descriptions.
- Uploading and maintaining online marketplace listings.
- Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Picking, packing and preparing sold items for dispatch.
- Helping maintain an organised, safe and efficient online retail workspace.
- Working closely with the Online Retail Team to maximise income from donated goods.
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, reliable and flexible attitude.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confidence using computers or a willingness to learn.
- An interest in online selling, photography, fashion, collectables or retail (although this isn’t essential).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A passion for supporting The Air Ambulance Service and making a difference.
