Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Golf Manager to oversee the daily operations of our golf course and club facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest services. The Golf Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards, and fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous experience in Golf is preferable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the golf course, including scheduling staff, managing bookings, and ensuring service standards are met
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest services and maintain high levels of professionalism
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the course is well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing
- Develop and implement programmes to enhance the guest experience, including tournaments, events, and membership initiatives
- Manage reservations, memberships, and billing processes efficiently using relevant software systems
- Monitor financial performance, control budgets, and optimise revenue streams through effective marketing and promotional activities
- Handle guest enquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and uphold environmental standards across all operations
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the golf course locally and online to attract new visitors
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within a hospitality or leisure environment, preferably in golf or sports clubs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional approach
- Sound knowledge of golf operations, programmes, and industry standards is desirable
- Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills both written and verbal in British English
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required by operational demands

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
