We are a small, friendly landscape gardening company looking for a reliable and organised Personal Assistant & Office Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our business.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys administration, takes pride in accuracy, and is happy to turn their hand to a wide range of office tasks. You will work closely with the business owner and play an important role in keeping the business organised and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing materials and liaising with suppliers.
- Checking creditor and debtor invoices for accuracy.
- Assisting with accounts administration and record keeping.
- Drafting and transcribing professional emails to customers, employees and suppliers.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Obtaining and comparing annual insurance quotations for the business and vehicle fleet.
- Supporting the owner with general administrative and personal assistant duties.
- Assisting with other office tasks as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous administrative or office experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well organised, methodical and able to prioritise workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, trustworthy and able to work independently.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience using QuickBooks.
- An understanding of, or previous experience within, the landscaping, construction or gardening industry.
- Experience working in a small business environment.

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
