We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Prep Chef / Kitchen Assistant to join our busy kitchen team. This role will involve a combination of food preparation, assisting during service, pizza preparation, and pot washing, so applicants must be willing to carry out cleaning duties as part of their daily responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with pizza preparation would be advantageous, although not essential. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting chefs with food preparation and service
- Looking for someone keen to get stuck in and maintain standards.
- Preparing and cooking pizzas
- Washing pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Supporting the smooth running of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Willingness to undertake pot wash and cleaning duties
- Good understanding of food hygiene
- Reliable, punctual and able to work evenings and weekends
- Part-time hours available, including evenings and weekends. Competitive hourly rate dependent on experience.
