Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Building Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support various building projects by performing essential manual tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring smooth daily operations on-site. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction while contributing to high-quality building projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and other construction tasks under supervision
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials and tools
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support construction activities
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or general labouring roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in building projects
- Basic understanding of construction processes such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills related to fabrication and welding techniques

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
