About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our Cutting Room team at our manufacturing facility in Quedgeley, Gloucester.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is hardworking, eager to learn, and interested in garment manufacturing. Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone looking to develop specialist skills in garment cutting. Previous experience is not essential, but it would be an advantage.
Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll learn both traditional hand-cutting techniques and automated cutting processes while helping to ensure garments are produced accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Shifts
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:45am – 1:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately cut garment components to meet daily production targets.
- Learn and use both hand-cutting and automated cutting techniques.
- Inspect fabrics before cutting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare interlinings using industrial die-cutting equipment.
- Re-cut garment components as required.
- Mark, batch, and label garment panels correctly.
- Handle a variety of fabrics with care and precision.
- Minimise fabric waste by following efficient cutting practices.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Support the wider production team with day-to-day cutting room duties.

Pay: £12.71-£13.70 per hour
