Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our team! Main duties will include assisting with material and machine preparation and be in charge of moving, handling and storing materials.
Responsibilities:
- Being aware of your responsibilities to yourself and others under the Health and Safety company policy document and adherence to that policy. Reporting all accident, incidents and hazards.
- To have the ability to work under pressure whilst operating machinery
- To adhere to good working practice on material handling and quality procedures. Report any deviations
- Data collection and identification procedures to be adhered to.
- To support teamwork and communication at all levels across the shifts and throughout the company.
- To maintain a high level of housekeeping / 5S principles.
- To be aware of your own responsibilities in the factory Quality Procedures.
- To minimise waste and maximise cost effectiveness.
- Be involved in the Continuous Improvement activities.
- Attend daily handover meeting and any other meetings as requested.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures including IATF,14001,9001
- Carry out any other reasonable requests.
About you:
- Have problem solving techniques: Root cause analysis; Supporting in 8D's and NCR's
- MRP experience
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, CI,
- Supporting Business Culture Change.
- Structured, highly organised and disciplined.
- Strong personality with the ability to motivate others; Risk based thinker.
- Methodical approach and attention to detail.
- Set an example for required behaviours; Highly motivated with a desire to succeed.
