We are looking for experienced Civils Dig Teams and Gangers to join our team carrying out fibre broadband installation works.
This is a hands-on role involving excavation, duct installation and reinstatement for fibre optic networks. We are looking for reliable and experienced operatives who can work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Van and tools will be provided.
Main Duties
- Digging and trenching for fibre duct installation
- Installing fibre ducting, chambers and toby boxes
- Clearing duct blockages and preparing existing duct routes
- Working safely around gas, electric, water and telecom services
- Reinstating tarmac, paving, footpaths and verges
- Setting up signing, lighting and guarding where required
- Completing daily works safely and to the required standard
- Reporting any site issues, damaged services or blocked ducts
Experience Required
Previous experience in fibre optics, telecoms civils, utilities or groundworks is essential.
Candidates must be confident working around underground services and have a good understanding of fibre duct installation and civils works.
A full UK driving licence is required.

Candidates should hold relevant and current tickets, including:
- NRSWA / Street Works
- CSCS
- SA001 / S008
- SA006 – Safe Working in Civils
- K8 – Underground Rodding
- Q19 – Core Drilling
- Q20 – Duct Blockage
- Q21 – Duct Laying
- S7 – PIA Sub-Duct & Cable Installation
