Cat C (Class2) Driver
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cat C (Class 2) Driver to join our growing team.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines driving with on-site work, delivering and assisting with the erection and dismantling of marquees and temporary event structures across the UK. Based in Yorkshire, this role is vital in ensuring the safe delivery and installation of our marquee structures, contributing directly to our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities
- Safely drive Cat C vehicles to customer sites.
- Load, transport and unload equipment.
- Assist with the erection and dismantling of marquees and temporary structures.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with safety standards
- Work as part of a team on event sites to ensure smooth operations during event set up and dismantle.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues..
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Follow all health and safety regulations during transportation and installation.
- Support the team in other operational tasks as required.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Cat C (Class 2) driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to transportation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks involved in marquee setup and willingness to undertake physical, hands-on work on site
- Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
Desirable
- Prior experience working in event or construction industries is advantageous.
- Previous marquee erecting or temporary structures experience
- Forklift certification
