Companion Carer (Female)
We are looking for a kind, friendly and reliable female Companion Carer to support a lovely client in their own home.
Once a Month
Friday 6pm to Sunday 6pm or 10pm
This role is centred around providing companionship and helping the client to remain independent, comfortable and well supported in their daily life.
Duties include:
- Providing companionship and engaging in conversation.
- Preparing meals and encouraging regular drinks throughout the day.
- Prompting and checking that medication has been taken as prescribed.
- Assisting with light household tasks, including tidying, laundry, washing up and general housekeeping.
- Supporting the client with their daily routine.
- Encouraging hobbies and interests and providing emotional support.
About the Client

There is a friendly pet cat in the home, so applicants should be comfortable working in a household with a cat.
The client has expressed a preference for a female companion with a mature outlook and someone they feel they can relate to. They have indicated that they would ideally like someone aged 50+, although we welcome applications from all candidates who can meet the client's needs and provide excellent companionship.
About You
You will be:
- Friendly, caring and patient.
- A good listener with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy and compassionate.
- Happy to provide companionship as well as practical support around the home.
- Comfortable working independently in the client's home.
- Experienced in care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay: £558.00-£618.00 per month
