Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor/Security Guard SIA License holders to ensure the safety and security of our upcoming event security in Glasgow and sorounding areas.The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations,emergency situations. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and maintaining a secure environment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security threats or hazards
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious activity and intervening when necessary
- Respond promptly to incidents, including disputes or emergencies, with professionalism and discretion
- Provide first aid assistance when required, following established protocols
- Record all security activities accurately in incident reports and maintain logs of daily activities
- Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all attendees and staff
Experience
- Must have SIA Door Supervisor License
- Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is advantageous but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is desirable
- Certification or training in first aid & ACT is compusury.
- Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role
