About Stockport County
Founded in 1883, Stockport County are one of the country’s longest established football clubs. Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since 1902.
The team currently competes in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of the English Football League, after winning the 2023–24 Sky Bet League Two title.
Role Overview
At Stockport County FC, our Food & Beverage Assistants play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for all guests at Edgeley Park. Whether on matchdays or during non-matchday events, our team ensures high standards of service across our bars, restaurants, and hospitality areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing a high level of customer service across match day and non-match day events
- Working at a fast-paced bar, restaurant and hospitality facility
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of service areas, including bars, dining areas, and hospitality suites.
- Ensure all food and drink areas are clean, well-stocked, and always presented to a high standard.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
- Support the kitchen and waiting teams during peak times, including carrying trays, clearing tables, and replenishing supplies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries or complaints.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Attend team briefings and training sessions to maintain service quality and consistency.
Please note that this role is a zero-hour contract.
