Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, energetic and enthusiastic person for our cafe in the heart of Dawlish.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food and customer service.
Experience is preferred but a confident, outgoing disposition is essential.
The job will include weekend shifts and available weekday shifts through the summer.
Ideal for a summer job or anyone looking to carry forward alongside studying in the autumn.

Duties
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Perform basic maths to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Able to work under pressure effectively in a fast pace environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred
- A friendly and cheerful disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
