Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Cook (Part-Time) to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of dishes that meet quality standards
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Support meal preparation activities, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning foods
- Help with serving food to residents in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain organized workstations and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly used and stored
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service
- Contribute to a positive team environment by staying energetic, proactive, and attentive to detail
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen work is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and meal assembly processes is advantageous
- Experience working in a food service setting demonstrates strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients is a plus
- Serving experience is beneficial for understanding resident needs and delivering excellent service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
