We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plumber to join our growing team.
Our work is primarily across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas, including Manchester, Bolton, Wigan, Stockport, Oldham, Bury, Rochdale, Salford, and nearby areas.
Please only apply if you live within a reasonable travelling distance of Manchester.
This role involves travelling to customer properties throughout Greater Manchester, so applicants based in areas such as Sheffield, Blackpool or other locations requiring a long daily commute are unlikely to be suitable for this position.
This is a hands-on role focused primarily on domestic plumbing. You will be responsible for attending customer properties to diagnose problems, complete repairs and installations, and carry out general plumbing maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have strong practical plumbing experience, be comfortable working independently, and take pride in delivering a professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Diagnosing leaks, faults and plumbing issues
- Installing and repairing pipework and plumbing fixtures
- Kitchen and bathroom plumbing
- Drainage and associated plumbing systems
- Replacing taps, valves, wastes, toilets and other plumbing components
- Carrying out general plumbing installations and repairs
- Recording work completed and materials used
- Maintaining a clean and professional standard in customers' homes
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' plumbing experience
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing, or equivalent experience
- Strong domestic plumbing experience
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Your own suitable plumbing power tools
- Good knowledge of UK plumbing standards and regulations
- The ability to work independently and manage your own jobs
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, professional approach
