You will have responsibility for the development and delivery for all group and school based work within a geographical area of Winsford and other districts as and when required. You will ensure high quality outcome based youth work is delivered in accordance with the Youth Service Strategy to positively impact on young people and communities.
The Post Holder will need to have a clean driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Winsford for a qualified Youth Worker to join a dynamic and established team.
Our geographical based group work consists of 5 distinct delivery points that include

SEND Youth Provision
LGBTQ+ Provision
Youth Voice
Detached work within the community
To deliver this work you will manage a team of part time Youth Support Workers to ensure high quality group work is delivered. You will manage, plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate targeted youth work, develop and deliver needs led and time-bound projects and initiatives to inform and educate young people in response to risky behaviours.
The role will require you to hold or to be working towards the Degree in Youth and Community Work or equivalent and have a clear understanding of the national policy framework and legislation relating to young people and a good knowledge of Youth Work issues and participative approaches to work with young people. There is an option for a apprentice role to be considered for the correct candidate.
We are looking for people with initiative, self-motivation, are enthusiastic and have excellent empathy and listening skills and have experience of delivering Youth Work and positive engagement with young people.
The role is full time; 37 hours per week.
