We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant who has passion for working with the elderly residential and elderly with dementia supporting a wonderful team on nights
Hours: 36 per week to include alternate weekends
Hourly rates: From £14.51 /£14.83 per hour weeknight, £17.07/£17.39 per hour weekend night - rates of pay will depend on qualifications and discussed at interview
You will need:
- A warm, positive, and approachable personality, with genuine empathy and compassion. As our residents may feel particularly vulnerable during the night, you will provide reassurance, emotional support, and compassionate care, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued.
- Have NVQ/QCF level 2 or above and/or willingness to work towards qualification, must have care certificate
- Ability to administer medication- with experience of using EMAR
- Ability to provide and maintain high professional standards at all times
- Drive, commitment and enthusiasm
- Ability to lead the night team and be the person in charge on specific nights
- Proficient in IT - we use Care Docs and EMAR
- Ability to multitask
- Confidence and a positive attitude
