We are a small independent village pub, with a bar and restaurant area, kitchen team, function room, skittle alley, 5 old coaching inn/hotel rooms and our own little farm where we grow for the kitchen. We have a VERY good vibe with all colleagues and locals. Now what we need is an experienced, hardworking and reliable person to join us to to serve customers (bar and food) and generally all other usual bar and front of house and also help with daily hotel duties . We will consider part-time or full-time applicants but experience and skills are essential.
Pay is weekly (week-in-hand) every Friday. Staff share all tips which is processed and paid at the same time as payroll.
Skills and Experience Needed:
Experience of working in a busy, similar hospitality business
Good communication skills
Good customer service
Ability to carry out all front and hospitality operational duties (bar, dining, events, hotel changeovers etc) including barrel changes and cleaning etc
Hardworking & Reliable
Able to use Lightspeed (or equivalent) till system and integrated hotel platforms and restaurant booking systems
There is the possibility of staff accommodation within close proximity of the inn, by separate arrangement.
