P.N. Daly are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Water Operations Team to support our leakage detection work for our Southern Water contract. This is truly a great opportunity for a competent analytical individual, who with full training and support could further develop their skills and experience with one of the UK’s leading leakage detection companies.
What you’ll be doing?
You will support our project team with technical analysis on the water network to successfully deploy leakage management solutions. Your day-to-day role will be to review water network data from various systems, identify anomalies and areas to be investigated in the field, plan daily work for engineers and work closely with internal and external clients to support leakage reduction targets. You will occasionally be required to visit field engineers.
You will be working with a strong team of highly knowledgeable leakage analysts giving you the opportunity to develop your skill set and progress your career. You’ll be trained in providing support and assistance across a range of projects and technical areas.
Who we’re looking for?
- Strong IT and analytical skills
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised and structured approach to work with good attention to detail.
- Enjoys problem solving with logic, initiative and curiosity
- Ability to analyse and assess numerical, graphical, and geographical information.
- Ability to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel or similar
- Previous experience and/or understanding of water leakage detection approaches is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
