We are looking for several experienced cooks to join our busy kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food while maintaining excellent food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard.
- Prepare homemade dishes, including curries and steak pies, from scratch.
- Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Complete daily temperature records and other required kitchen documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Work efficiently and effectively during busy service periods while supporting the wider kitchen team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a busy commercial kitchen is essential.
- A valid Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
- Good knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality or standards.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork skills.
- Must be available nights and weekends (Including Bank Holidays) .
