We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our busy branch team. This is a varied role that combines trade counter and telephone sales with warehouse and operational responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and a hands-on approach to work.

The Role
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers, both at the trade counter and over the phone. In addition to supporting sales activities, you will assist with day-to-day branch operations to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing first-class service on the trade counter
- Processing customer sales and enquiries
- Handling inbound telephone sales and orders
- Preparing and issuing customer quotations
- Supporting account customers and maintaining strong relationships
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Assisting with stock control and warehouse operations
- Supporting deliveries and goods-in processes when required
- Maintaining high standards throughout the branch
- Working closely with colleagues to support the wider team
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and enjoys working with customers. You'll be confident communicating with people from all backgrounds and capable of managing a variety of tasks throughout the day.
Experience within electrical wholesale is advantageous, but we would also welcome applications from candidates with experience in trade counter sales, wholesale, distribution, builders' merchants, plumbing merchants, or similar customer-facing environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Ideally 2-3 years' experience within electrical wholesale, trade counter sales, or a similar industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business
- A genuine desire to learn, develop, and progress your career
