Downham Hall is looking for a keen, enthusiastic mid week only Breakfast Chef. This is an exciting new role due to the expansion of the business and a brand new building launching in September.
This is a family run business where everything is prepared fresh by us and produce is bought of a high quality and locally from our suppliers with great reviews for our food and service.
We require a chef to work independently to deliver high quality breakfasts cooked to order for both residents and outside customers.
5 shifts a week Monday to Friday with potential for over time as and when needed.
Shift begins at 7 and brakfats service finishes at 10.30. However we are able to guarantee a minimumof 30 hours a week with adiditonal duties helping the wider kitchen team and ensuring the kitchen is cleaned to a very high standard.
We require someone hard working, passionate about producing high quality food and able to work under pressure at times of busy service.
An ability to get here via car is highly recommended as we are based in the countryside and public transport is not available to our venue.
Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
