Mentor and support the team credit controller: Leading by example/ensuring we deliver an excellent operational service to e-Capitals Clients within the allocated portfolios. Ensuring regular conversations and meetings to target clients take place who have either a service need or risk issue requiring action. Ensure organisation and timely completion of the following day to day task: Processing client payment requests, processing invoices/credit notes, monitoring verifications and ensuring these are maintained at the required level. Generating paperwork for debtor High Involvements, debtor credit limits and Overpayments in line with compliance as per the agreed authority matrix. Checking assignment back-up is in line with agreed Operational conditions, ensuring all paperwork ensures debt is valid and collectable. Monitor and liaise with the client over non receipt of facility covenants, management of applicable Credit Protection limits. Ensure new clients have been set up within the operational platform accurately and liaise with the on-boarding process to ensure a smooth transition from Prospect to Live client status. New Business Take On Management: - Liaise with Sales Support and BDM regarding completion of take on formalities / checklists including the following tasks; C3 and E3 set up, Satisfaction of Pre conditions, presentation of file to RM/Ops Manager for approval, Client Training. Client Queries: Ensuring these are communicated in a timely and clearly defined manor. Documenting queries clearly, showing how these were dealt with and placed against the client file. Pro-actively dealing with client complaints, communicating any to your line manager and discussing appropriate resolutions to the satisfaction of all parties. Complaint Handling: - Proactively managing the client relationships by attempting to anticipate future client needs and engaging the client early in order to over deliver. When dissatisfaction does 2 arise, logging of complaints and seeking to turn these into opportunities to enhance the relationship. MI Reporting: Drive receipt of financial information in accordance with the facility conditions. Distribute for review to the relevant manager. Add to MI monitoring sheet. Ensure Bank statements are received monthly and checked for any anomalies including Direct Payments. Monthly Conditions and Covenants: Responsibility for ensuring accurate and reliable provision and adherence of clients monthly operating information and conditions to be escalated to the line manager for review. Through careful and a knowledge-based risk management approach, identify, recommend and maintain appropriate strategies for each client on behalf of senior management. Document and clearly articulate what those strategies look like and communicate progress to Senior Management. Monthly Portfolio Reviews: You will be asked to attend the monthly portfolio meeting reviews with the appropriate manager and contribute to the discussions by provided clear and concise feedback and recommendations where required. Sales Ledger Reviews: To ensure that these are completed within agreed timescales and to the minimum standard by Senior management team. The Sales Ledger reviews must include a review and understanding of high exposures, risk, client service, litigation actions, dilution concerns, collectability ratios. Actions should be documented and monitored that they are being dealt with, either by yourself or via other team members. Credit Control: To ensure your Credit Controller and team performs the expected levels of telephone calls as outlined in your team /unit objectives and to ensure any other agreed measurable objectives are met. If required, you will be required to undertake credit control to ensure those levels are met. As part of credit control actions, verifications must be closely monitored and again ensure that responses are received, reviewed and where they do meet the required level a targeted plan is generated to ensure this happens with the required support. Risk Events: You will be required to identify and communicate any risk events within your portfolio and to act swiftly and assertively to address any issues that may impact upon our book debt security in line with your line manager.
