Longleat Estate are seeking a driven individual to join the dynamic property team as their new Property Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, organised and passionate person to join the team at the incredible Longleat Estate. The wider estate consists of approximately 220 cottages, 14 farms, 20 commercial units, 4,500 acres of woodland, 2 reservoirs and everything in between.
The main purpose of this position is to provide support and administrative duties to the Property Department, including the Estate Manager, but the role will extend to ensuring the smooth running of all Estate departments.
About the Role:
- Act as the first port of call for all enquiries, providing a positive office, email and telephone interface to all our customers, contractors and suppliers.
- Complete a broad range of administrative tasks including comprising and preparing correspondence, photocopying, data management, filing, arranging meetings, recording minutes, preparing agendas, covering letters and generally supporting the Property Department.
- Research, prioritise and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Property Department, including those of sensitive or confidential nature.
- Assist with the preparation and completion of leases, licences associated plans and particulars for all aspects of Estate Management.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years administrative and business support experience
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Excellent word processing and IT skills, including Excel and demonstrate knowledge of a range of software packages including MS teams and Sharepoint
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- A problem solver
- Practically minded
Your Contract:
You will be employed on a permanent contract, working 25 hours over 5 days per week.
