Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Support early childhood education activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment, including play areas and learning stations
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to provide updates on progress and needs
- Help implement structured routines such as meal times, nap times, and educational activities
- Support management in planning and executing age-appropriate learning experiences
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and nursery policies
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills in supervising or guiding young children or team members
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Level 3 qualification desirable/ willingness to work towards achieving

Pay: £12.71 per hour
