Do you want to join a successful and growing company? An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Block & Estates Manager to join a market-leading property group, operating in real estate with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Working closely with our established Property, Facilities and Accounts teams, the role will focus on management of our existing residential and commercial estates. Taking control of block management, service charge budgets, overseeing the maintenance and compliance of the buildings.
Key Responsibilities - Block & Estate Management
Managing a portfolio of residential leaseheld residential blocks and commercial estates across Manchester & Leeds.
- Contribute to effective financial management, assisting with producing service charge budgets
- Manage the day-to-day running of the developments including regular block inspections
- Hold AGMs and leaseholder meetings
- Liaising with external contractors concerning the need for cyclical and planned maintenance always ensuring that funds are available before works are committed.
- Dealing with solicitors in relation to transfer notices and conveyancing questions.
- Produce leases, licenses, and accompanying documents in line with the company standards
- Carry out regular inspections in line with company standards and schedule
- Carry out rent reviews on a regular basis to achieve the best returns for the Landlord
- Manage end of tenancy dates, offering renewals where required
- Serve legal notices, when required, relating to enforcement of covenant or obtaining vacant possession
Profile, skills & experience required:
- Property Management experience is essential
- Block/Asset management experience desired but not essential
- Demonstrable data analysis, budgeting and mathematical skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and contractors to foster long-standing partnerships
- Work under your own initiative
- Take responsibility and be commercial minded
- Driving license – Required

- Salary - £33,000 + Commission OTE £38,500
