Duties

- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members

- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Organise kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Serve food to customers when required, providing excellent hospitality service
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with strong team management skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure smooth operations
- Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development
- Previous experience in food production, restaurant service, or hospitality is highly desirable
