We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational administrative skills while supporting daily office operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism, using proper phone etiquette, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in company databases and spreadsheets
- Support administrative functions such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and organizing documents
- Maintain office supplies inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Prepare basic reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace tools
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendar activities for team members
- Perform general clerical duties to support daily office operations and ensure a welcoming environment
Experience
- Prior office experience or internships demonstrating familiarity with administrative tasks is preferred but not required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients via phone and email with proper etiquette
- Basic typing skills for efficient document creation and data input
- Previous clerical or administrative experience that highlights attention to detail and reliability is advantageous
Pay: £24,000.00 per year
