Job Description:
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to the lives of our residents? We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated General Assistant to join our supportive team.
In this versatile role, you will play a vital part in the smooth daily running of the home by supporting both our catering and housekeeping teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Chef with basic food preparation and meal service.
· Keep kitchen, dining, housekeeping and laundry areas clean, safe and well maintained.
· Carry out cleaning, laundry and room sanitation duties as required.
· Maintain food hygiene, health and safety and COSHH standards.
· Develop positive relationships with residents, families, visitors and colleagues.
Requirements & Compliance:
· Friendly, can-do attitude and strong team-player mindset.
· High standards of cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Previous kitchen, housekeeping or care experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
· This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an Enhanced DBS check.
