Samsic UK Security is looking for a professional, reliable and customer-focused Regional Security & Front of House Officer to support our client sites in Newport..
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional front-of-house environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and can maintain a calm, visible and reassuring security presence.
The successful candidate will support multiple sites, so flexibility and a positive attitude are essential. Full site training will be provided.
Due to the nature of the site, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain SC Clearance. This will require a full checkable history and may include residency and nationality requirements in line with client vetting standards.
You will be contracted to work 10 hours per week on a rota basis.
Flexibility is required as shifts may include:

Days, Nights and weekends(Monday to Friday) 1 to 2 days a week.

Cover a site in Newport.

As a Regional Security & Front of House Officer, your duties will include:
-
Providing a professional meet-and-greet service to visitors, staff and contractors
-
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
-
Managing enquiries in a polite, calm and professional manner
-
Maintaining a smart, alert and visible security presence
-
Monitoring and managing site systems within the security control base
-
Completing accurate reports and incident logs when required
-
Supporting access control and visitor management procedures
-
Acting as a professional ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client
-
Liaising effectively with the client, site teams and Contract Manager
-
Following site procedures, assignment instructions and health and safety requirements
We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable and confident working in a customer-facing security role.
You should have:

A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence

Excellent verbal communication skills

Strong customer service skills

Basic computer literacy

Good written English for reports and daily logs

A flexible approach to working hours and site coverage

Hold a current SIA Licence

Have the right to work full time in the UK
