Irwin Groundworks have been established for over 50 years and are based near Ballymoney, Co Antrim. The company carries out general groundworks including agricultural services, land drainage, site clearance, and specialises in all aspects of sports grounds and golf course construction and maintenance.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Excavator Operator. This is a full-time position and will involve working across both the agricultural and civil sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled, motivated, and professional team.
The Ideal Candidate
This is the perfect position for a careful, motivated team player who is willing to take initiative and, where appropriate, lead by example.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Excavator operation ranging from 2.5T to 20T machines.
- Machine Maintenance
- Customer liaison
- Planning Works
- Good Communication Skills
- Driving HGVs (where applicable)
- Manual skilled labour
- Full valid driving licence
- Strong team-focused attitude
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
