The British Veterinary Receptionist Association (BVRA) is looking for an enthusiastic,
hardworking and organised individual to join our team.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone comfortable working independently, thrives
in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being involved in a wide range of projects.
As a small but ambitious organisation, we are looking for someone who can become an
integral part of our continued growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide support to our members via email and telephone.
- Building relationships with our members and practices.
- Managing and responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Supporting the Directors with diary management and administrative tasks.
- Assisting with the scheduling of social media content and content diary.
- Producing monthly reports and business updates.
- Uploading and maintaining data on our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Supporting the delivery of training programmes and member services.
- Attending events, meetings and conferences as required.
- Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes.
- Assisting with project coordination and business development activities.
- Helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation.
We are seeking someone who is:
- Highly organised, reliable, with excellent administrative skills.

- A confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Positive, flexible, adaptable and solution-focused.
- Proactive with a genuine "can-do" attitude.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Competent in using MS Office products and online systems.
Desirable
- Previous administrative or customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience managing social media platforms.
- Knowledge or experience of the veterinary sector is desired but not essential.
- A full driving licence and willing to travel (UK).

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
