About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor to join our team for upcoming projects starting in mid-September.
The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day site activities and lead a team of approximately 3–5 workers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This is initially a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
We are looking to meet and assess suitable candidates before the projects begin, with interviews and practical assessments taking place beforehand.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 3–5 workers.
- Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Read and understand technical drawings and project specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations.
- Conduct toolbox talks, briefings and site inductions where required.
- Monitor workmanship and maintain high-quality standards.
- Coordinate materials, tools and equipment.
- Liaise with management, contractors and other site personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues on site.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Complete relevant site documentation and reports.
- Lead by example and maintain a professional approach.
RequirementsEssential
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Site Supervisor.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Previous experience managing a small team.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Previous experience supervising teams of 3–5 workers.
- Relevant construction trade background.
- Experience working on similar projects.
- Previous experience working on a temp-to-perm basis.
