We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Play Assistant with a Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification to join our pre-school team for the new academic year in Autumn 2026.
We are looking for someone to join our team to work 3 days per week (Monday , Wednesday and Friday 8.15am – 4.00pm), term-time only. We offer competitive rates of pay that reflect your experience (ranging from £13.87 - £14.25 for a Level 3) and half pay during the school holidays. The ideal candidate will have a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification, with experience of working in early years and good knowledge of the EYFS, who enjoys supporting children’s learning and development and taking part in a variety of play-based activities. The role is for 12 months, to help support a child with an EHCP.
Certificates in child protection and paediatric first aid are desirable. A clear enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate before they commence the role.
