Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team, with litigation experience, ideally in consumer law and motor trader disputes. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, managing a diverse caseload, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on legal matters and develop your expertise
Key Requirements
- Experience as a Solicitor with up to 3 years PQE and/or Paralegal
- Litigation experience, including managing cases from inception to conclusion.
- Experience in consumer law matters.
- Experience handling disputes involving motor traders/dealerships.
- Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Ability to draft legal documents, witness statements, pleadings, and court correspondence.
- Confident in negotiating settlements and liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties.
- Strong case management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using case management systems is desirable.
- Represent the organization in negotiations, mediations, or other dispute resolution processes with confidence and professionalism
- Maintain meticulous records of all legal activities, correspondence, and case files for transparency and accountability
Preferred
- Experience with county court litigation. Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision. Strong client care skills and commercial awareness.
Duties
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including contracts, agreements, and policies with precision and clarity
- Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Manage a varied caseload, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and stay updated on legislative changes

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex legal concepts clearly
