Job description
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, with grilling and smoker experience being highly desirable.
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes while ensuring all food is produced to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will help maintain an efficient workflow, support your colleagues, and contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
Duties
- Assist the Kitchen team in executing menus while ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
- Work within kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Help develop new recipes and menu items that align with restaurant concepts and customer preferences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a kitchen role within a restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary methods, and food safety practices.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A genuine passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes that delight guests.
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
