What you'll do:

Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals for residents and staff.

Manage the kitchen independently and make sure meals are ready and served on time.

Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and maintain high food hygiene standards.

Check stock levels and order or replenish ingredients and supplies when needed.

Work well with colleagues and communicate clearly to keep the service running smoothly.

Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures, including when working alone.
What you bring:

Previous experience in a professional cooking or catering role is essential.

Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.

Able to work independently, manage your time and prioritise tasks.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Reliable, self-motivated and confident working alone.

Positive and flexible, with the ability to work well with others and follow procedures.
